Nos collègues chinois, de passage à Paris, nous donnerons un aperçu de l'enseignement des mathématiques en Chine.

We introduce the history of Chinese Mathematics Education from the ancient
time, then the Modern Mathematics Education imported from the Western
world at the end of the Qing dynasty and, finally, the peculiarities of
mathematics Education from 1949 up to now, and some recent changes.

Nous présentons l'histoire de l'enseignement des mathématiques en Chine
depuis l'Antiquité, puis l'éducation mathématique moderne importée d'Occi-
dent à la fin de la dynastie des Qing et enfin les spécificités de l'enseignement
des mathématiques depuis 1949, ainsi que certaines évolutions récentes.
